Sue Andrew

Diploma in Early Childhood Education – Registered Teacher
Reliever

My name is Sue Andrew, also known as “Nana Sue” by many. I have spent many amazing years being part of the “Wellsford Preschool Team” supporting parents and nurturing children in a variety of learning experiences. Lately I have retired from full time teaching and transitioned to a relieving capacity.

Children and their families are still a big part of my life and I love being involved in their learning journeys, guiding children to become competent and confident learners. I have gathered many treasured memories of the fun times spent with children and families at our preschool and these continue to grow with every year I continue to belong to this special family.

I look forward to meeting new families and getting to know more about them. Education is always changing, and I love being part of the challenge to deliver a rich learning environment for children.

Outside of preschool I am a wife with two adult children who have left home and am a proud Nana of two pre-schoolers. I am a keen gardener and a life -style farmer. Animals are another passion of mine and I usually end up with an abundance of pets whom I have nurtured back to health. Reading and knitting are hobbies I indulge in, along with travelling which I hope to do more of in the future. I play an active part in several community groups to support Wellsford to be a great place for families to relax and enjoy leisure time with good facilities.
