I joined the staff at Wellsford Preschool some years ago as a qualified teacher aide supporting children with special needs. I have undertaken specific training to deal with these little ones physical emotional and educational needs, allowing them to participate and grow alongside their peers right up to the day they start school.

As part of the Preschool team I have taken an active part in developing some of our unique, inspiring activities and equipment that our children love to explore. When we play “Goldilocks and the three bears” all the children surprisingly want to eat their porridge, because everyone gets a turn at being goldilocks at Wellsford Preschool.

I often bring resources from home usually based around my love of gardening and floral art, hoping to pass on my passion to the future generation. It’s fabulous to be able to tell people I love my job and wouldn’t swap it for anything.

I have recently become a first time “Gran” and I can now use my skills and talents with my own family too.
